Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way.
In this age of digitalisation, globalisation and daily thousands of start-ups booms, India is seeing the new revolution of startups by women entrepreneurs. In India, where the ratios constitute of women is 48.9% of the total Indians. From total startups, women constitute 14% of the total entrepreneurs in India. According to a study we came to found out that about 58% of women entrepreneurs started their own business between the age of 20 and 30 and about 73% women entrepreneurs report revenue of under Rs.10,00,000 in a financial year. Top 5 Indian cities with entrepreneurs are Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
Today women entrepreneurs do not come from only the well-established families or rich income families of the populations, but they came from all sections of populations from all the parts of the country. How women have been excluded from the hoop of development and have fallen out of the circle of well being, self-actualisation, dignity, and self-esteem.
The era has been now changed about how the only male used to do business but after various technologies and ease of doing work women also begun and taking the right decisions at the top of the corporate world. It's just to show how far the world is changing these days and women entrepreneurs are a good example of that from being merely homemaker to innovative business leaders and CEO in the very short span of years.
Here is the list of some women entrepreneurs of India Aditi Balbir(founder, V Resorts); Falguni Nayar(CEO, Nykaa); Sabina Chopra(founder, Yatra.com) and many more successful entrepreneurs, to be honest, that's no small feat. But also faces some kind of problems like discriminations, stereotypes and many more which aren't easy to overcome. Furthermore, we hope and promise that we will give inspirations to women everywhere in this world and showing success by giving them an example of successful women entrepreneurs in India.
